Choose an appointment for your concern
If you have a particular spot or several concerns, tell reception when arranging your visit so they can advise on the appointment type and time needed. You do not need to identify the cause yourself before booking.
Discuss what happens next
An assessment may lead to advice, monitoring, further testing or referral, depending on the findings and your circumstances. Booking a skin consultation does not mean that a procedure will be needed or performed at that visit. Ask about any additional appointment or fee before proceeding.
What to bring
- A note of the spots or areas you want to discuss and when you first noticed changes.
- Details of previous skin assessments, relevant results or treatment, if available.
- Your medicines list and any questions you want to ask.
Before you book
Can I discuss a single changing spot?
Yes. Tell reception about the type of appointment you need. Dr Integrity can discuss the concern with you and determine appropriate next steps after assessment.
Will I need testing or a referral?
This depends on the assessment. No particular investigation, procedure or referral is promised in advance.
What will a skin consultation cost?
Ask reception about the current consultation fee and any applicable Medicare rebate before booking. If further testing or another appointment is recommended, ask about its cost separately.
